The Ƶ (FNF) has been honoured with theSigmaArchon Award in recognition of its lasting impact on the nursing profession and global health.

The award was presented at Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing’s biennial convention in the United States, where FNF’s Chief Executive Officer, Professor Greta Westwood CBE, RN, PhD accepted the award on behalf of the charity from Sigma’s Board of Directors.

Professor Westwood said: “I’mdeeply honoured andtruly movedto accept theSigmaArchon Award on behalf of nurses, and midwives, everywhere…. ToSigma, toSigmaBoard, thank you for seeing the work of the Ƶ,for recognisingthatour nursing and midwifery leadership development is notonlyvital,it’strulytransformative.”

SigmaTheta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) is aglobalnonprofit organisationdedicated todeveloping nurse leaders to improve healthcare everywhere. Founded in 1922,Sigmanowhas more than 100,000 active members and 600 chapters at institutions of higher education and healthcare partners.

Through its Board Awards and International Awards for Nursing Excellence,Sigmarecognises outstanding nurses, healthcareprofessionalsand global partners from around the world.Nearly 2,000nurse leadersrepresentingmore than 50 countries attended the recent biennial convention.
